The phases build on each other.
The first four phases correspond to what we call Extraction: doing the same things better, quicker and happier. Phase 5 is Expansion: doing different things that weren't viable before. Individual Productivity enables Team Standards, which enables Process Orchestration, and so on. Value estimated in later phases is harder to capture if the earlier phases are weak. Take the diagnostic to find which phase your organisation has actually reached.
