# Saturday AI Thoughts

David Boyle's weekly email about language models and how they change knowledge work. Published every Saturday from david@steadman.ai. 975 subscribers.

## How old is AI?

The hub page carries a live timeline of the three generations of AI: how long ago each generation reached ordinary people (ChatGPT, 30th November 2022; Claude Code, 24th February 2025; Clawdbot, now OpenClaw, 25th November 2025), with a toggle to the enterprise-ready equivalents (ChatGPT Enterprise, 28th August 2023; Claude Code on Team and Enterprise, 20th August 2025; Claude Tag, 23rd June 2026). Enterprise trails the consumer launch by six to nine months, every generation. Each generation name links to [Three Generations of AI](https://steadman.ai/newsletters/david/three-generations.html).
